The journey to Bathurst Harbour involved a return trip in a Cessna 206 - a single engine aircraft that made its debut in 1962. Smaller than a car and seating 5 including the pilot made for a memorable trip out over Tasmania's South-Eastern coastline and over the southwest ranges to Melaleuca gravel airstrip and subsequent return. Thanks to Theo and Par Avion for a tremendous trip.
All photos and video on this page shot with an iPhone 14 Pro. Most were shot through the perspex plane window which does create some flare.
